With happy staff members, this comes naturally. If they are proud of the food that is on offer, they will engage and be enthusiastic. It’s a happy circle that isn’t easy to come by, and once you have it, it’s important to hold onto it.
Getting to know your customers in contract catering is key – and with the repeat custom, it’s easy to build a rapport – as well as lose it. Knowing how to engage, and how to approach people varies from site to site, however, having a fun approach and a passion for what you are doing, you can’t really go wrong!
